I'd still like to know which wires to connect where, but as of right now the motor is working. I took off the black cover that clips on the motor and it has a small copper contact that grounds on the aluminum. I sanded it and the aluminum.

I also ran the two tests that are listed in the '92 evtm to confirm it was the motor before pulling that plastic piece. If it acts up again i'll have to retest.

There were two tests:

*Wipers won't park. *No voltage at wiper motor.
*Open condition in wiper switch

For voltage check it says Check 65 (DG) wire for voltage at Wiper motor connector.

To check for an open: *Check 57 (BK) wire to G103.
*With both connectors disconnected check continuity between pins 6 and 8 of the interval governor with wiper switch off.

If someone could take the time and tell me the pinout for the plug that would be great.

If you don't know it all i'd really need was to know which wires get voltage on low/high which are grounds and I could figure out the rest. I'm having a **** of a time trying to find the tsb where they supposedly list the pinout.

As you can guess the issue came back and I already ordered the other motor. If i'd known it would be this ridiculous to find the information i'd have stuck with the two plug motor.

402001 and s678. I should've bought the motorcraft one that comes with the harness because the instructions I need come with it.

That would have been the ideal option.....

Not to mention the Motorcraft part is a million times better quality and operation. I know this cause I just swapped out a 6-month old (new) Cardone for the Motorcraft. The good thing is I saved all the paperwork for the wiring conversion that came with the Motorcraft part. PM me your email address and I'll send what you need!
