I didn't know how to search for this topic so it is very short and hope there is a one sentence answer.
If I shift into drive while the parking brake is down it releases itself. Is this a problem I should have fixed? I mean it doesn't seem like a big deal to me, but I don't want it to cause future problems. Thanks in advance everyone.

It's considered a "feature" on the ATX SHOs. Nothing is wrong with your car.

I wish my 89 could do that. It's so much extra work to reach down and release my e-brake.

I get spoiled by this feature whenever I drive my 'Gator.
