Silver trim?

I'm considering painting the black trim around my Lt. Titanium Silver 89 an aluminum color. Does anybody know what this might look like? I'm trying to get it to be close to the body color, but so it stands out a bit, for a clean look. I fear it might look like something like some awefully out-of-place chrome (except not that shiny). If it works, maybe it would match with the body-colored Taurus badge and clear corners I eventually want to do. Any thoughts

I have silver trim around my windows and stuff. I really hate it, and wish it was black. That's just my opinion. Maybe it will look good on your car? My car is white
