The mirror glass is fine so I don't want to buy a new mirror, just stick the old one back on. Any suggestions on what to use? What's left on it looks to be some kind of black stuff, but all I can find is rear view mirror glue. :thankyou:

it depends on where it came loose, because there are pivots glued to the back of the mirror that need to be able to move to adjust the mirror.

I have one that I glued back on w/ red RTV and its been on there for 6 months now.

btw, super glue did not work.....
