Not really a question but, the Shoshop messes up again. I ordered the pulleys and they sent me 2 of the three right ones. I talked to Ray and they sent me a supercharger pulley instead of the power steering pulley. Hopefully they can get me it so the SHO will be running with all pulleys.

At least you have seen something that you ordered!! I placed an order to the SLOWSHOP through spmotorsports for a cold air intake, an 80mm maf, and the shoshop cat back exhaust 3 weeks ago, and haven't seen any of it yet!!! How long did it take to get your pulleys in after you ordered? I also just ordered a set of udps for my 93 atx from shoshop (you'd think I'd learn) but they are the only SHO in town so I guess you just have to wait..........

Well it took a little over a week to show up at my house. I am disappointed that I have to spend more money to put the power steering pulley on when I had the timing belt changed.
I think they really want the supercharger pulley back pretty badly because Ray is going to overnight the power steering pulley tomorrow (or so he says). But I am going to hold on to the pulley until the correct one arrives (so I have something if they mess up again).

Sho Shop sucks. I ordered carbon fibre strut braces on june 8 and have yet to see them. I also ordered extrude hone intake runners beginning of July. Haven't seen them they can't even tell me when I might expect them. They say Vadim is the one to talk to and of course he won't call me back. I've filed a complaint with the better business bureau and am going to cancel my unfilled orders.

hmm he must be starting from scratch on building everything.. an order comes in, so he goes into his mine and mines the metals he needs, then smelts it all down, forges it. etc etc.

ya know, I had to do a SS y-pipe install for a customer, and the rear O2 sensor would not mate up with the harness, it was like 1" too short. So I give SS a call, and Tom answers the phone. I tell them why I'm calling, and ask if the 02 sensor bung was moved down at all from the stock pipe. Before I had even finished, he cut me off and said "it's the same location as stock, there's a snag in your harness somewhere" not being an idiot, I didn't call him on that, but I obviously checked the harness beforehand to check. Sure enough though, the location was slightly further away than the stock location. I wish there was a middle finger smiley to wave at the SS with. I know there's a few Russian words I could hurl at Vadim.

I had to cancel my order just to get it. Going by the Fed Ex. Tracking info. The ShoShop took the bulk of my order into Fed Ex. about 2 1/2 hours after I cancelled it. I tell all about it in the thread named 'I SHOULD'VE CAME HERE FIRST'.

I ordered drilled front rototrs from the SHO SHOP way back in 95. I got two rotors alright, one front one rear. Called Vadim and he sent me the other front, of course I had to send the rear one back.

Ordered an LPM and UPD. The pullies were right, but the chip was not. Get a new one.

Ordered a 80mm MAF, never worked worth a shit. 3 LPM's later still sucks donkeys ass. A Chevy Vortec PU gives me a good race with this setup. Wow! Where do I sign up for more of this crap? I think I need headers.....yeah that's it.

Now, I ain't got a chip, MAF, or UDP and my shit is fast with no hiccups.
I'll jump in it and drive to Alaska tomorrow.

Fix your suspension, brakes, wheels(7.5"), and STICKY TIRES. Tires grip the road. If your tires can't grip the road all your LPM, MAF, HI-Flo Y-pipe, UDP, crap is useless. USELESS!! Sticky tires are like erasers, they wear out. But like erasers they work. Sticky tires will make ANY car accelerate, stop, corner, quicker, even a Yugo. I had one.

I up to now have had no problems with the SHO Shop. On the way to the convention my water pump underdrive pulley broke. I called Tom (after having to buy a whole water pump just to get a pulley, but that's a whole nother story all together) and asked him to send me one that wasn't machined yet with all of the holes that are in the new design. He said no problem he will send me a solid one. I am sending it off tomorrow and hopefully I will get the replacement soon. I have ordered numerous parts from them and gotten them in a reasonable amount of time with no problems as of yet. I will keep everyone posted.

I am a new guy here and have only made a handful of posts. I don't want to come across as a complainer or trouble maker so I'm gonna get over my problem with them and move on. The only good thing I can say is that they are giving me all the time I need to get their 60k tune up tools and all my core charge items back to them. Hey, COBRIA, the intake runners you are waiting for are probably mine. Sorry, by the time I finally got all my parts, my mechanic was mad from waiting and went to AZ for a month. Still isn't back! frown

So far I have not had a problem with shoshop.
I ordered the CAI and it only took 5 days. I did just order the y-pipe and flex pipe the other day knowing they said they do not expect them to be in stock until the end of next week, hopefully I don't have to wait much longer than that.

Unless ownership of SHO Shop has changed since I ordered my clutch last fall, I've found their service to be just fine. I also ordered their stiff body package last summer and recieved it without a problem and without unnecessary delay. Just remember that SHO Shop basically created the SHO after market, and has provided quality performance replacement parts for virtually every part of the car for years. They are also the only SHO part supplier that I've seen who can back up their horsepower claims with dyno info rather the old "Oh, you'll feel the difference it makes" answer. The quality of SHO performance part suppliers is somewhat relative too. I have never recieved a return phone call, much less talked to a person at Cincy SHO. The fact that they are an e-retailer doesn't excuse the fact that they don't provide any customer service. SHO Shop, however, has always answered my questions even though I wasn't buying anything at the moment.
