I was talking to a friend of mine about old good days of street racing in Hunts Point , Bronx and he started telling me about all these different cars and told me how for the first time he saw maroon SHO there running agains supercharged T-bird.
Then I remember another friend told me a story how he had,I think, Porsche Boxter and some old SHO with bad body of all different colors, blew his doors off. Then the same guy told me how another SHO raced him and the only thing he saw, was a sticker on that bumper, saying : "SHO, don't you forget that". I wonder if those people still on this forum, or do they still have those cars?

Thats just it, the good 'old' days lol. Not alot of SHO's made it through the years around here via rust. I see people driving them 365 days out of the year and being in the NE with our winters, they rot out fast. I see a green mtx around here once in a while, driven by a kid who pounds on it and the body is rotted to ****, makes me sad.

I just stripped my red sho, and found out that it was very rotted, more than it seemed before I started parting it out. Some people, probably got rid of their cars. I bought my 92, that I crushed, from a guy, who drove it every day. car had almost 400000 miles and still had original engine and tranny. body was getting rust, but not rotted. Previous owner gave me some paper issues of SHO club, or whatever it was back then. And that person wasn't really an enthusiast, not a thing was modified in his car, except for fog lights.

Was on my way to the JFK today and spotted this clean beige Gen1 getting on Jackie Robinson Pky. Was suprised to see a clean Sho like that in NY, but who knows, i rain hard, so maybe that was my illusion.

There are a lot of clean SHOs in NY.
I bet, I've seen Green one yesterday on Sprain Brook Pky going north. It looked very clean. It is weired how these people are not on this forum, but you start seeing their cars driving around as soon as the weather gets nicer.

That was probably me. I have the GENI used by the SHOfear team in the Onelap of America. I was on my way to LI from MA. If you saw alot of stickers on the back windows that was me. The stickers are all the tracks the SHO has been on, and yes it is rust and rot free. ")

Last december I drove my SHOwagon from Riverhead long island back home to Florida. Was the middle of the night. My navigator took me on a route where I didn't pay a dime in tolls to get from long island to home. Took me right through the center of manhattan. Was pretty busy even for like 4am. I had the really loud exhaust and it was so loud driving though the city with it. Everyone was looking. It was spray painted flat black and loud with the buildings. I'm glad didn't get pulled over by NYPD for noise.

But before that I drove up to staten island for 2 days, then to Islip, then to Riverhead. Anyone notice me? Flat black 88 Wagon really loud. Has sho motor.

Never noticed you, because I stoped coming to big apple for a while. Hate every borough of it now. With Florida Plates, you shouldn't have much problems with cops, especially in Manhatten. Every other borough you have to be aware of. But I would like to see that. I know somebody who moved to Florida that had Taurus wagon project, that suppose to look like SHO, but in reality very tricked out 3.0.
