I know that you make 2 different shifters, which one is the better shifter? What are the main differences in the 2 and why would one be preferred over the other?

You have the 2 threads side by side right now with the links to the installation instructions. The differences between the 2 are very obvious and so is the price.

SHOrty is cheaper, but you have to cut up a stock shifter. SHOrt uses no stock parts. I bought a SHOrty, but looked at my shifter and saw the plastic ball or whatever it that the shifter rotates around with had a crack in it, so I went for the SHOrt. I like it, not every one does though.
