I pulled my intake off three days ago to clean it up a little. I put it back on today, with new gaskets, torked the bolts to the 11-17 foot pounds like it said in the shop maual, and now it wont fire up. I labeled everything with makings tape just incase something came up and I could't get back to it for a while and forgot where things went. I have been playin with cars for the better half of my life and graduated from an automotive class and im stumped. Any thoughts?

Probably not the problem, but did you remember to plug the DIS unit back in?

Did you screw in the two bolts holding the surge tank crossover down? If you did, floor the gas, and turn the key. It should start up after a couple trys. I know everyone will say that's for carbureted cars, but I had the same problem as you, I had my intake off for 2 days and I got a no start. Put my foot to the floor, foot on the clutch, turned the key and BAM, started right up.

Are you sure there is no leak's on the plenum to runner gaskets? When I took the intake off for a cleaning I had a small leak when putting it all back together, and it caused my motor to run REAL rough
Just a thought...

Well this is the second I have put it back on since I first took it off. The frist time it idled real bad, so I inspected it, and found some small cracked pieces i had missed earlier, thats why I put the new gaskets on.
