Ok. Dealer couldn't pair the sensors the car system.
Mechanic guys said: "My device said: NOT OEM." Sigh....

So, as is the case most of the time, I just did it my self by going to learn mode (Brake, then release. On, off, On Off, ON PRESS BREAK AND RELESE then off, ON, off, ON, off ON HONK! Used my after market trigger device and programmed them.

This mayseem way out in left field but for some reason my wandering led me to these as a possibility (more just an idea if someone wanted the old school cop car mean vibe) Of course it’s not a sho but I’m guessing they make wheels like this in larger rim sizes these days. Personally I have the Nurburgring tsws for now. Think these particular ores are made by allied called the smoothie

Those are most likely generic steel wheels with smoothie hub caps. Very popular for the era and also for police vehicles for many years. You could find them by any number of manufacturers from China to Moon Eyes to OEM.

Well I went the opposite direction of the majority. I dropped to 18s and stayed with the stock width, lol. Looking to gain some traction with the increased sidewall, and leave a little more in the wallet in the future not having to buy 20 inch tires. Picked up a set of 18x8s from the 15+ Mustang GTs and a set of Goodyears (winters) off a police interceptor. Love the look and the wheelspin I was getting with the stock 20 inch all seasons is gone. It's probably more so the softer compound than the increased sidewall, but either way I'm happy with the result.

Yup, the bolt pattern is the same and the backspacing is within 1mm, at least it was in my situation putting 15+ Mustang wheels on a 10-12 SHO (39 to 40 or vice versa). Just need some 63.4 to 70.4 hubcentric rings to keep them centered. Not sure about the TPMS, mine didn't come with any sensors but the light has only came on once (not until after 50+ miles) but it was off by the next key cycle and hasn't come back on. I believe there are scenarios where the Mustang TPMS will work in the Taurus, like if they share the same model year possibly, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I do know that on the 13+ SHOs you can use ForScan to turn off the TPMS MIL light and message though.
