Heck, if you can't build the turbo from bicycles parts you found in your garage, you are an idiot. Only dummies would actually pay a company to build a turbo for them. Heck, I drill and pump my own oil, refine it, and sell the extra to idiots who have to go to a gas station and pay someone else for fuel. Bunch of idiots surrounding me, dang.

However, you and I both know you have a target price range you're shooting for.

What's changed so much that it's taken so long? Having done this type of stuff on my spare time, without pay, I just can't see a reason why there wouldn't be something even worth showing yet.

Yes the price is as cheap as we can with good quality parts.

Read my response above there is more going on then just the turbo. If I was doing the turbo only then maybe I would have time to get it done in the time frame you have allotted. There are plenty of pictures of what is going on, we will not post anything till it's completed due to reasons mentioned above.

"Kit's" are for mindless people anyway . Anyone truly interested in a FI car will build their own.

Some times its a time issue, I have made just about about every custom part for my sho swap , I have acess to a full machine shop but sometimes that is not enough.

You need time to do it AND re-do it !

Anyone who has turboed a car has made mistakes. In the long run a kit can save the average joe money and time.

What if you dont own a welder? Go out and buy one just for this one project? What if you can't weld? I suppose some would say then you have no business making an FI SHO. That's like saying if you cant tune yourself you shouldnt boost a SHO. Just a flawed train of thought.

I think its awesome someone is finally going to offer an actual kit. should cut down on alot of the "i want to turbo my SHO" posts. Good luck guys, dont let the haters get you down.

should cut down on alot of the "i want to turbo my SHO" posts.

Doubt that. It will still be "I want to turbo my SHO and dont have 3k+ for the kit, oh noes ! What do I do guys ? I have a broken turbo from a thunderbird I want to use cuz it was free lulz " (post count 5).

Im glad you guys are trying to keep it a modular kit. For someone like me, being able to just get a set of pipes to replace my first set, would be a option. Waiting/intrested to see what you guys came up with .

He said "cut down", not "totally eliminate".

Alright, I'm not going to complain about the wait time on this kit like everyone else, even though I've been watching this tread since the beginning. I will say that puting a suggested price out this month, will be a good idea, since many people will be getting their tax returns in. And thats about the only time (at least for me) that I get a few grand to blow. I don't think any mod I've done on my SHO was ever on budget or really even close. But around-about price is needed.

I would love to give a price but I do not have enough pricing to do that yet. I just got some more prices in for some of the parts but I do not have a full idea yet. I wont be there till the tooling is done for the pipes. We just completed the piping setup.

If I hit to high it will scare everyone away, too low and everyone will be mad when the price has to be raised.

It will be more then $1.00.:)

We did complete the piping and we are working on the oil lines.

I think you would sell more hot pipes than anything if you sold them alone for people to select/build thier own kit.
