We should be installing the first setup here in a week or 2.

The "hold up" is mainly due to this being side work and the piping has to be fairly accurate.

Yes I would of liked this done last week but there are some things that are beyond my control. In the mean time we are working on other parts of the kit. If this was a full time job then things would move a lot faster.

As is the case with anyone involved in the SHO business. The demand isn't enough to warrant full time paychecks in most cases, and I'd guess a lot of times, personal money is used to finance larger projects like this.

take your time. I'd like to get one of the said kits, but financials are not in order at the moment. I can't wait to see proven numbers from this kit.

My $0.02 PhuckinG cents...

I'm going to be a ******* here.. since I've pre warned you, you're not allowed to flame me.

For christ sakes, it's not like they have a large budget to work with or 100% of their time to dedicate to making this kit, it's all SPARE TIME work, and aside from fixing other cars, making your precious re-enforced motor mounts (to which I'd LOVE one for my ATX) and sourcing very nice and reliable and good price-to-performance ratios, they're really busy to develop a kit in a few weeks/months..

So ******* relax, pics would be nice, but I bet at the end of the day they would rather relax and spend time with the families they have.

Really? I know you've been waiting, but if it's bothering you THAT much, go build your own and sell it on the site!

With all that said, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!!

Didn't your mother/rand mother teach you anything?

Thanks for reading!

Have a nice day!
:swing:

P.S.

I'm slowly saving my money for a new ATX.

the RR1k.
My car is nearly complete, needs only motor mount, ATX, AC repaired and Blend Door, and heater core, everything else works FLAWLESSLY..

Valve adjustment and everything is done!

Either way they're paying these people for their time so why drag something out well over a year when it could have been done sooner? Labor is labor unless they are getting some special 'I'm **** this in my spare time' rate. And considering they don't have a total cost yet, have taken deposits, or decided to see who was really/still interested they could be spending all this money and time on a project that doesn't have any real buyers anymore. If I was still interested I would have rather thrown down 500 bucks up front as a deposit in order to get my product to me at least 5-6x faster.

In all honestly. They are taking the time to build a custom kit for maybe 10 people. I highly doubt these guys are going to get all the time and money back that they put into these kits.
They are doing it for the true enthusiasts. I have a love/hate relationship with this car as I am sure alot of you do. If I didn't daily drive this car I would gut it completely rebuild the engine and slap on the turbo kit.
That being said shut up and wait.

I think that when the kit does come out , nobody that's even posted in here buys one immiediatly . Not having anything to do with the product , price , wait time anything ... Just the fact that 95% of SHO owners here are flakes and have more time to post rather then money to accaully buy anything .

Good luck finishing up the kit guys .

It's not even that so much as a bunch of the ppl hounding them for info and a delivery date are the same ppl that complain in a diff thread about having to scrape up 100$ for valve cover gaskets or somthing . Your not gonna be dropping thousands of dollars any time soon so sit back, shut up and wait . Then when it comes out you can pop in for your " oh shit I want this so bad !! Just need 3,495$ more dollars , lulz "

I did it once already. It is a **** of a lot of work to do a turbo setup and have it work well. I will buy a kit this time around just so I don't have to deal with it this time around. If the kit works as I hope it does I will buy one. If not then I will continue to thrash on my stock engine car. I want it to go faster but not badly enough for me to spend a month or two in the garage with sleepless nights hoping the neighbors don't call the cops because of the noise. I would sooooo much rather spend a couple months gathering money and spend a weekend bolting some stuff on and doing burnouts. I must be getting old.

edit: guys keep in mind this is a gauging interest thread not a group buy thread. Originally he was just checking to say "hey guys if I build it will you come?"

SHO people want the world but can only really afford a third world country. hence why they should have seen who would put their money where their mouth is.

It would be pretty cool if they just kept quiet and then showed up at the convention with a turbo sho.
