SHO Runs horrible no power

ok so i am looking to buy this blue 92, well i test drove it today, and it ran like crap, it had no power at all, it backfired a couple times, and there is a loud bang or such when you turn and give it gas, sounds like its coming from the intake, please help, its a great deal for the car. what could be wrong.

pulled codes, nothing wrong, car has good body, decent interior, good trans, basically, the ****** engine is the only prob, hes trying to get a grand for it.

Could be something as simple as oil in the plug wells.

More than I'd like to admit squint

Oh well... the list of "to be replaced" is smaller than the list of parts already replaced.

At least the rest of the car is in good enough shape to make up for the deficiency.
