I'm back at it and looking for some ideas
The car cranks but won't start. Fuel and Spark are good.
Spark seems strong, the plugs are wet, starting fluid doesn't do anything.
I recently put new injectors, crank/cam sensor, timing belt, spark plugs on and it ran excellent for about a week until I threw the serpentine belt. The only thing I've done since then is put a new belt and starter on.
What is strange is, even though it cranks over nicely has spark and fuel it won't fire at all. After cranking it a bunch it will sometime backfire through the intake (just air) and pop off a vacuum line or the air filter (not clamped down) - basically a nice puff of air will sometime come reverse through the intake. It seems unlikely but could it be timing? I put a new belt on and it was lined up perfectly - I have a hard time thinking it would be off now.
Much appreciated for any ideas. Thanks!
