As usual i don't know if this is the right place for this thread, if is not please excuse me.

It seems that ever since i installed my SC the car has never being the same, as per before the SC everything was running properly now is just a disaster sore of speak...

For the most part the symptoms still and the same, car is running rich, poor gas mileage, unsteady idle, Red oil light on and off, car shuts down from gear to neutral or neutral to reverse, BTW the idle jumping up and down on stop sings and traffic lights next to a rice burner, very embarrasing....:shakehead

Funny thing is that every time i dyno the car the idle shows to be neither lean or rich?!

So far i have done the following:

1. FPR from Josh.
2. New IAC valve or whatever that is call. the little tube in top of the intakes.
3. I just did my Rod Bearings. BTW the old ones were in pretty good shape.
4. I got the tweecer. either way tweecer or lpm the Idle in my car is an equal opportunity problem.
5. I reset the TPS to like .97 or so a while back. so and i am sure that i am forgetting a thing or two.
6. Oh yeah i am on my third set of O2 sensors and still the same game.

I just ran my codes and here is what i got:
the code explanations i got it from both

MidwestSho
Shoshop, .

Trouble Codes

Explanation

121 - Throttle Position (TP) sensor out of range
- Closed throttle voltage higher or lower than expected.
137 - Oxygen sensor not switching/system rich Left or Front HO2S
-HEGO HO2S-2 indicates always rich.
173 - Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was rich - Single Right or Rear HO2S
-HEGO HO2S-2 indicates rich.
177 - Oxygen sensor not switching - system was rich Left or Front HO2S
-HEGO HO2S-2 sensor circuit indicates system always rich front side.
412 - Idle speed system not controlling idle properly (generally idle too low)
-Can not control RPM during ER high RPM check
511 - No power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (processor)

All help is always appreciated as usual.
Thanks!

Jean.

If you're getting a red oil light because of surging idle, raise your idle so that it never goes low enough to have a problem with oil pressure. After that, start reading on how to tune with a TwEECer.

Terry, I don't think this was a problem for me, but I'll go ahead and do the clips while I've got it all apart just for safe measure. Did you use C-clips or E-clips? I'm guessing the latter.

Yes, E-clips.

Red line indicates location of E-clip.

What injectors are you using? How were the fuel rails modified or who did them? I had to use C-clips to keep my injectors from slipping to far into the rail. This would cause a vacuum leak were the injector seals at the head.

i am using the 47lb injectors from vadim, and he send me the rails himself, i have no spacer in between the rail and the injector heads.

I am going to go ahead and do the clips on the injectors just to make sure there is no leak there
thanks.

47lb injectors from Vadim? Ding, ding, ding we have the answer for the low speed/idle problems. Those injectors flow like crazy, flow like a water hose; but, will and do cause idle problems. Low Slope on those are like in the 100s Are you using an LPM and if your are ..... is the LPM "seated" good and you used some diaelecric grease on the connector and non of the pins are bent inside the connector?

Just wondering if you replaced the oil pressure sending unit ? mine did the same at idle; $8 and 2 minutes to replace and all is good now....

i just replace the tips on those injectors, vadim send them to me with their original tips so just now last week i switch them with the SHO tips , now Low Slope in the 100s, but what about the High Slopes?

i am using the tweecer now so reseting the slopes should be no problem.:thumb:

I'll do that my as well, but i am betting my money on a vacum leak around the injectors.:thumb:

who knows?

thanks

Yeah, definitely consider the Accel injectors over the SHO Shop's red 48lb-hr ones. Much improved spray pattern, I got better power (+30hp) & smoother driveability with them on mine. The modified reds basically "stream" the fuel vs. spray.

The basic idea of using accel injectors is nice.
But unfortunately Accel injectors are no longer an option for the SHO since some time last year....
