You mean he had the ignition changed out.

If you dont have the originial keys, I sure hope you have keyless entry.

I went to a locksmith to get a new trunk key which also unlocks the trunk locker inside. As for the door...maybe a lock smith can do that too.

you can press the last 2 buttons on the keypad.... allthough if you dont have the keys(or keyless entry code) you dont want to do this.... (no way to get back in)

and i assume by starter, you mean the lock cylinder on the steering colum?? (where you put the key to start car)

Locksmith's your best bet for the trunk. As for the doors, I'm not entirely sure. If you really NEED to lock the doors w/o the keys, make sure you have a flathead screwdriver around, as you'll be using that to open back up the door.

You can go to Ford with the code of the key , its written on the pass door barrel (remove trim + barrel.) Well thats what they told me...or bring the barrel to him.

locksmiths can do the doors along with the separate trunk key. in my area, there's a locksmith called "van's automotive" where all they do is drive around in big red vans and service car locks. can even make custom keys to match the original locks by some magical process that i will never understand. they can also re-key the door locks to match your ignition key. i'm sure there's they same type of service in your area. look in the yellow pages.

I believe that Ford can give you the key code from the VIN, but you have to have some document showing that you legally own the car. Without the door key, it sounds like a stolen car. The ignition lock cylinder can be replaced in about 2 minutes (it helps to have teh original ignition key to do it though). You may want to check with your local police to have a trace run on the VIN.
