SHO having more problems. Need help.

When im at steady throttle the car just SURGES. If i go to wot it usually stops. Sometimes the idle will get messed up but its usually kind of stable but can get weird at times. IAB Valve? Last 60k was september of this year. 136k on the car.

If cleaning your IAB doesn't help, check your codes for a code 33. If you have a hole in your EGR pipe then you'll get a vacuum leak every time the EGR valve cycles open.

Sounds like a vacuum leak.

Block off the EGR port (if you have EGR). That will eliminate that as a possible source.

The IAB is a controlled vacuum leak. If it is bad, you can have this problem.

Try disconnecting the MAF sensor. See if the driveabilty improves.

Note: CE light will come on if you do these steps.

Check all your hoses and vacuum lines for a leak. Listen carefully.

Try running ithe KOER test, see if it gives any codes.

Im not sure if it has an egr, its not a CA car. Would it still have one and where would it be. Wow, you guys are being really helpful!

Rick, what is that code 33.
I just put in a 92 MTX into a 93 ATX body,. she won't start and I was going to clean the air valve tonight, I tried to run codes last night, I thought it said 33. actually I am sure of it, but since it is a 92, I thought it was going to have 3 digit codes, but I am sure it was 33 for the code, the only code it gave. It will crank all day, has spark,gas injecting, no VRM VRM VRM. I am quite sure I have a vacum leak at the purge canister in the fender well(bad connectiona the the tank). Is that code something that will tell me where to start my nightly adventure? I sure hope so, and thank you for all of the help.
