Thats great to hear man. Bet you been dying to drive it. I know when I was looking at my gen III in the garage for a year. I was going nuts. Would pull it out wash it and wax it and put it back in the garage the neighbors thought I was insane. lol :nut: Best of luck with it sir. Enjoy.

I see you picked up the Silver MTX in Burlington..... On the way up and back you passed withing 3 miles of my house when you went through Montpelier on I-89.

I also have been washing my SHO every week or so. Mine runs... it just needs exhaust work to pass state inspection. Next on the agenda is a tranny flush in a couple of weeks followed by a 60 k this fall sometime.

Brian thats good news to hear, I hope you have a chance to get some miles on 'er and maybe make it down next month. I too finally got my '89 on the road and inspected a week ago....after sitting here for two years, two axles, lower control arms, tie rod ends, mufflers and rod bearings sort of slow down the process a bit...my wife thinks I'm nuts, :nut: two SHOs on the road..at the same time. I do like the mtx though even with a cable shift....hummm, I've heard of of an opal frost mtx in NH,If it were still available maybe I should sell "Old Blue".

Woo, hoo.

Got the cats welded in and she's quiet again. I just need to get her to an inspection station for a current sticker. Then it's SHO time LOL

aww cables are easy..wont take long to do...the hardest parts is getting the old ones out...HINT:use a 13mm box end for the crown retainers...it will make life easier..
