SHO decal installation

Anyone know how to install one SHO badge letters on the rear bumper? They have prongs coming out of them, so it's hard to tell if they are just using two way adhesive or maybe there is supposed to be some sort of nut on the other side?

Originally they went through some of those clutch type fasteners on the other side, that is from the factory, IIRC. The last couple of times I have had to do with putting them on, I have skipped trying to get behind things, clipped off the posts, and just used the standard automotive adhesive tape used to attach stuff on exteriors. Holds forever.
