The Tapatalk search function is not the greatest. I’ve been looking for a while, but... Has anyone done any interior mods on the chrome and/or high gloss compartment covers? I really enjoyed this at the beginning.. I’m starting to get annoyed every time I’m blinded by a piece of trim.

Tinting your windows darker will help. Also, adding a windshield tint banner will help. I have zero issue with mine, and I probably get the most sun of any region on this board.

I was thinking about tinting the windshield completely. I’ve seen a few like that, looks really good. If not, a banner is a good option too. Should’ve had it done when my tint was done.

The banner makes all of the difference. Make sure you are there have them measure about 3 inches above your eye line. You can see how low my banner is in the picture below.

That is my french fourragere. Here is the history of it and why it is so unique to the 5th and 6th Marine Regiments. I was with Kilo 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines.

Firstly, thank you for your service.

I thought that’s what it was. I did not realize that there were regiments in the Marine Corp who wore that as well. A welcomed history lesson for me.

I wore that when I was in the 82nd back in the day.

Such cool history.

Thank you for your service as well. Yeah the 5th and 6th Regiments are "special" within the Corps. We are called upon for the bigger battles with in history.

Went with 50% ceramic windshield tint. Going to drive it around today and see if it’s enough. Then I’ll go to a 6” bar @5%.

Looks great. I have to get my windshield replaced soon, and I will do the same. Thank you for posting.
