Yea so anyways it had rained for a week down here in daytona and alot of the streets got flooded. So attempting to go to the gym i decided to drive through one of these flooded streets. The car made it but it has been shifting pretty badly now. I replaced the tranny fluid with some mobil 1 synthetic and still no change. Also the clutch cable is adjusted and there is only about 5000 on the clutch. I have to force it into first gear sometimes to take off and it is usually a pita to get it into 2nd and 4th. Sometimes it shifts good and other times its crappy. Could it be a linkage adjustment or is it the clutch?

I HIGHLY doubt the tranny is toast. A little water in the trans isn't going to **** it, especially if it's mixed in with tranny fluid and you drained it immediately. Remember the mtx is a completely sealed case and it's pretty damn hard for water to get inside it even if it's submerged. I'm more inclined to say its something to do with the TOB if it shifted fine before the water.
