Shifter Problems!!

Hey Guys I've got another problem with my '91 SHO MTX. I was getting on the freeway one day last week and I was shifting from 3rd to 4th and after I shifted into 4th the shifter broke. The bracket that the shifter slides into broke off the control rod that changes the gears on the transmission. I then went to a Ford dealership and gave them my problem and asked them for some help and they said that the shifter kit was no longer made for the SHO and I have no idea where to get one so for the time being my SHO is sitting on a set of ramps in my driveway. Does anyone know where I can get a new shifter for my 91 SHO. Thanks guys for the help

Rod or cable? You can find replacement cables for 30 or so, and I've seen a couple of rods for 100 or so.

Hey Guys thanks for all of your help, I don't really want to pay all that $$$$ for a piece of metal so I went and bought a chunk of steel shoot ( Only 15 bucks) and I used a plasma cutter and cut the steel and made my own piece and then I welded it to the rod so it's fixed but a friend of mine stripped the shifter **** threads and I wanted to know if the shifters are still available?? I'm using a B&M Hammer Head Shifter Handle.
