ok , here i am driving home form work when out of nowhere my radiatior hose blows. she got hot but never in the red. put a new one on and now shes running like when there was oil in the plug wells. so i checked that , no oil. then i thought that maybe coolent got on my coilpack. checkd that , got good spark form every wire. any ideas on what it could be? theres no smoke coming from the exaust so that hopefully means its not the heads. also it has a werid rumble at low rpms.

Did you drive it after the hose blew? Did you change the oil? Have you checked the coolant for oil or the oil for coolant?

If it was the top radiator hose, I doubt your ruined your heads, although it is remotely possible.

I would take all the electrical connections on that side of the engine apart and spray them with electrical contact cleaner.

SHO--ripper:
Change the oil like luigi said if you havn't done it already.
Why are you guys recommending changing oil? Is this because you think there could be a milk shake in there? Or is it because the overheating killed the viscosity of the oil?

Well if you change the oil, do it right.

Let the engine warm completely up. Drain the oil into a squeaky clean pan, why? because you want to see exactly what comes out. If it's a milky color, you've got coolant mixed with the oil; very bad news.

You can also take a small sample and have it analized for small trace amounts of coolant and inner bearing material.
