I was just wondering if getting sfc's welded on my car was a good investment to start off my suspension mods? How much effect do they have, do they actually make the car handle better?

Excellent idea and a good place to start. Follow with bigger sway bars, better tires, and strut tower braces.

Definately worth the money. I have them, and my brother has them on alowered 98 GT. They make a big difference.

worth every penny, one of the best mods. Make sure you do it with STB's at the same time to really box the suspension in. You can do it without STB's but for the full effect, a nice rigid set of F/R stb's like the ones Bob Gervais offers, or the SHOshop are going to bring the car's handling to life. It only gets better with sway bars and other suspension mods.

They were my 1st suspension mod and just by themselves made a significant improvement. But as others have said, keep going w/ stb's, sway bars, better tires, and on and on.

I just had mine installed. You can feel the difference just driving down the street. The back window is much quieter now as well. thumbs_u
