I used the search button for SFB replacement and I am still a little confused. I see that I have three possibilities:
1) Stock SFB
2) Police Edition SFB
3) Solid Aluminum SFB
I am leaning towards the Police Edition since I want to have better handling, but not at the expense of ride comfort. I read on some of the SHO specific sites that the Police edition SFB require the Recall to be performed. Why is this necessary? My SHO is a east Texas car that does not have any rust!
Exactly what does the recall parts replace and how does this help? Can I install the Police Edition SFB without the recall performed?
Please let me know my options. I have basically replaced all the front end components except the SFB and the tack weld as per TSB 9534 - "Rattling or Clunking Noise From Front Suspension."
Who is the best supplier for the parts?
I would also like to install the Strut Spacer for fix the "Grunting" noise at the same time.
ShoShop?
CINCYSHO?
SHONutPerformance?
I would like to help out the SHO parts community.
Thanks,
Michael
