What is a P0411 code? Does this have something to do with the AIR pump?

Everytime we test the car the system comes on there's power at the fan, the exhaust motor motor comes on, the pump goes down in voltage, the solinoid is working, but when the cars on the road - on come the SES light! The hoses seem ok and tight the relay (but relays can be intermittent right?) seems to be working. And there are new OZ monitors.... hmmm, I can't figure it out.

Any clues?

I think it is incorrect SAI flow. There is a solenoid and a regulator located at the drives rear corer of the surge tank. Maybe a vacuum hose is off.

They relay is solid state so it either works or is toast. You should hear the pump come on when you first start the car. It will run for 30 seconds or so.

I just got my codes scanned today and got this same code, P0411....the guy at AutoZone told me its not something I can do myself I'll have to go to a garage basically and have them fix it. What do you think the problem is? Car runs fine, and I don't hear no weird noises, or can see any visible problems under the hood?

DTC P0411/P1411 indicates Secondary Air not detected. In order to test the pump, it must be capable of driving the HO2S lean.

Note: Some applications have one or two AIR Diverter valves.

Possible causes:

Electric AIR Pump fault.
Hose from Electric AIR Pump blocked.
Hose from Electric AIR Pump leak.
AIR Bypass Solenoid stuck open/closed.
AIR Bypass Solenoid leak/blocked.
Key off.
Visually inspect Electric AIR Pump hoses from the Electric AIR Pump to the AIR Diverter valves.
Inspect air hose for cracks, binding, obstructions, water or ice.

Thanks Paul, you wouldnt happen to know if V8SHO.com has a article on this or nothin do you? I'm not all that great with cars (i can change oil/fluids, brakes, crap like that). Id rather not have to go to a garage for this, if its possible for me to remedy myself. I visually inspected everything I coudl and dont see any problems. No odd noises either...
