Is this an issue? Even if it’s not, how do I fix it? Thank you!41c92651be018f729e23bea6c0bc3c5b

I think you can scroll down on the dash with the steering wheel controls and change the “service tire mobility kit” mileage reminder…it’s under or above oil life %

Its in the same menu on the left side of the steering wheel. Mine went off recently as well. You need to ask yourself, do you go and get a can of slime, then go into the menu and turn the time for the next reminder to say 5 year which is the expected life of the fix-a-flat can in the pump that Ford replaced the spare tire with. I grabbed a photo off the interwebs, it is the canister on the right. You can unwind the filler tube and pull the now "expired" fix a flat and replace with factory canister.

Slime/Fix a Flat = about $12-15 bucks. The canister from ford is $30ish. NOW call me crazy I ordered the replacement AND a can of slime in the wheel well. Before you grab that part number, there are different models with 13 or 15 ounces and mine comes from a 2014. You can unscrew the canister - and get the number from the canister.

It just took me searching my history BUT I found the site I did the lookup on - it is Ford -

Honestly, do you think it even warrants replacing? It’s a 2019 with 30k miles.

5 years is the average life of the can. Look I keep expired dairy products and tylenol. Its just a "best replace" date. I know this, I wouldnt want to be stuck with a flat and find out that I cant just get back on the road.

5 years and put a new can in, take the old one out (whether you replace the canister or stick a can in the trunk) and replace. Safer than sorry I say.
