I recently bought a 94 3.2 atx and the kid did a timing belt and re shimmed the valves well sounded like the kid knew what he was doing well apparently not. Everything was left loose and there is an oil leak that I cannot find! I have already inspected the front crank seal and is fine but the car is smoking extremely bad and it looks like there is oil coming out of one of the catalytic converters???? Did he not line up one of the over head cams while doing the timing belt? maybee there is oil coming out of the exaust valves or is it just a leak above the cat that I can't see? please help! Thanx

if oil is hitting the cats it would be one of two things. The first could be that the valve cover seal was rolled over by accident when replacing the cover and hitting the rear cat. The second could be a cam seal or the like.

Check the oil pressure sender. They have a nasty habit of instantly going bad.
Because of the location, on the block below the rear head, towards the tranny they are hard to see.
