Sensors?!?!?!?!?! please help....

Well i took my car in for diagnostics, because my check engine light kept on coming on, so they put it in and it was a code 519. Ok so i looked up the code and it said it was a power steering circuit open or something like that, does anybody have any clue what that is, and what should i do?? please help?!?!?! Thanz

The power steering pressure (PSP) switch is physically located on the metal block at the rack end of the high pressure power steering hose.

519 (O) PSP switch/circuit open

Most likely, they didn't swing the steering wheel all the way to one limit during the brief amount of time that the EEC-IV allows for during the dynamic response test of the KOER test.

Don't worry about it, it won't set a CEL during normal driving.

Sounds like they erased your stored codes without getting them. Wait for the CEL to come on again, then read them yourself. Instructions are in the FAQs at www.shotimes.com or Scott Patterson's (sdpatt) favorite site. Search for his user # and dalidesign
