While shop was replacing the passenger-side rear wheel bearing, they damaged the sensor wire. The Advance Traction Service warning light came on, along with Traction Control & ABS icons. They ordered the replacement, but received the wrong part number. They spoke to Ford to learn the replacement part sent is the proper part. They replaced it but lights are still on. They did more investigating & was told something similar to... ‘since the new sensor isn't the exact same, the readings could be off from the others, therefore, causing activation of warning lights.’
Really??? This sucks! Had the wheel bearing replaced approx a year ago (at different location) & no issues.
Can anyone verify this or have more info??
