Probably a bad relay for the SAI pump. It would help to have the exact code.

I've had the same thing since I bought mine. I didn't have the time to fix it, then the weather turned colder and the CEL turned off.

It doesn't affect driveability though.

yeah i know its probably more the cat deficiency code more than the SAI code the cat deficiency will stay off for who knows how long too its fickle sometimes its right when the monitors come back sometimes its 300 miles but when the light is off i get much better mileage

My '97 has the same thing. Improper Secondary Airflow I think it was. Has no affect on anything. Just annoying.

The check engine light was off all winter, then then last week when the temp went above 40 again the light came back on. It's the damnedest thing.

411? Yes, I think Paul has it here. I get it all the time. The relay comes and goes depending on the temp outside, the humidity, and its particular mood for the day. I suppose I should replace it, but as I know it is pretty meaningless, I had been ignoring it for during the winter, and now it is not showing up, waiting for next fall, I suspect.

Paul, could you do one of your photos or two showing where this thing is located and the procedure list for putting a new one in? Its getting warmer out there regularly, so I might as well do it, now that I am being reminded of it.

If the relay is intermittent it is probably a connector problem. Otherwise it is a SS relay and is either good or isn't.
