What would cause the secondaries to stick? Im interested in buying a car, but if i could find out why the secondaries are sticking, i may buy it. ~_~

Are they sticking as slow to respond or just stuck opened or closed? I wouldn't consider this a big deal when buying a car, it should be easily fixed by cleaning them or plugging them back in most of the time anyway.

I had a problem with my secondaries sticking on my car. Everything was hooked up fine and all the vacuum lines were properly connected but they still stuck. So I just kept spraying penetrating **** and working them back and forth by hand. But you can easily check if the vacuum lines are working properly by disconnecting the line that runs from the back of the intake to the T fitting by the IAB. When the vacuum line is disconnected the secondaries should open when the line is connected the secondaries should close. The secondaries are in the open position when the car isn't running so remember the position of the tab when the car is shut off and use that as a reference for the open and closed position of the secondaries. If you search there is a picture somewhere on the forum that shows the tab I mentioned.
