So I've recently had an annoying problem with my 1990. When I'm coming to a stop my seat slightly shifts and rocks forward. Even When I'm not stopping I can get it to move around if I pull forward on it. Is this common for these cars? Is there a way I can fix this? It's really annoying.

sounds like either a worn track or worn gearbox on the adjuster motor. in either case, swapping in a known good seat support base will solve the problem.

Make sure the 2 bolts (front) and 2 nuts (rear) that secure the seat to the floor pan are good and tight.
