Possibly a stupid question, but here goes: do our cars have memories for the seat and mirror positions? The owner's manual references a seat memory button to access two stored positions, but my 402A/Performance Package SHO has no such buttons...

It should be right under your left leg as you are sitting in the seat. Its at the very end of seat base. There are two buttons. Hold one to set the setting. Press it to recall.

On my 2010, the memory buttons are on the side of the seat towards the rear, in the panel that has all the adjustment controls. I noticed on a 2011 that the memory buttons were now as stated above. I'm not sure when that change was instituted.

Yours are where the adjustment for the seats are? Whats the build date of yours? I have a 2010 and mine are under the leg of the driver.

I don't know if there is a difference between the 2010 and 2011 seats, however I have heard that the memory position buttons can be in 2 places depending on whether you have the multi-contour seats (massaging) or not. In Canada, all SHO's have the multi-contour seats so I'm not sure where the other position for these buttons would be? Perhaps someone without the massaging seats can comment?

On my 2011, the memory buttons are where you stated as well so I don't think that the year has anything to do with it. I'm assuming that you have the massaging seat option and the OP doesn't......

My 2010 with the multi-contour seats has the 1/2 button on the left seat panel with the rest of the controls. It's towards the rear of the panel. See page 130 of the owners manual fior instructions on how to set. Seat panel attached.

Yep, they were there on the side of the seat, just as everyone noted. I still think they should be on the door panel, but my fault for overlooking them!
