SCT X4 tuner question

Hello I’m looking at purchasing an x4 tuner. I’ve done research and found that the model number that I need is 7015. I have found some for sale online for a good price, cheaper than new. One that I’m looking at is an X4 7015 but is described as a tuner for an eco boost f150.. I’m wondering if this would work for our cars? Or does the tuner have to specific to our cars ? Looking only to use the tuner for uploading a custom and transferring to my car. And this is obviously an unmarried tuner

Update: From the research I’ve done thus far, it would appear that any Ford model X4 can be used to upload a tune to any Ford car as long as its unmarried. Picked up an X4 for 200$ unused, unmarried. So we shall see what happens. Worst case scenario it doesn’t work, and I resell it for a profit (in theory).

I am using this tuner to upload a tune from GH. Originally I was going to get the power pack but trying to save a couple hundred bucks .. I will now be emailing GH to see if they can offer their power pack minus the tuner, so I don’t have to hunt down the parts. If that doesn’t work, I’ll attempt to gap my stock plugs and buy a 3 bar map sensor and MAYBE a thermo (not sure what the purpose of the thermo or gapped plugs is).
