Lately my SHO has been having a scraping noise occur if I give it just a mild amount of gas. I meant I literally have to idle to about 10mph in 1st then shift to 2nd and lightly apply the gas to 30mph then shift and lightly again. Even in 5th at 70 if I hit the gas decently it will scrape. Putting the car in 1st with the e-brake on it appears the front mount might be shot, but even then moving the front of the motor as far as I can I can't get any scraping noises while sitting there.

I visually inspected the mount a few days ago, the pin is still there and not broken and the rubber doesn't look torn. I'm very puzzled. The scarping is the inside wall of the PS pulley. I had a bad front mount on my 90 for like ayear, never had any scraping issues. I'm gonna lift it up again today and see what I can find, maybe a bolt's missing somewhere?

Is your alternator pully rubbing up against your battery tray when the engine tilts back from the beat up front mount?
