so to address the issue of "use the search feature" replies i would be getting, i spent a good couple weeks searching for pictures or blueprints for a sc mounting bracket for a vortech.

the best i found was in this thread:
http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=94271&highlight=handshake

to me, the pictures posted up by "YamahaSHO" do not work anymore which what i recall are the pictures i need

i have even tried contacting a couple of members with superchargers on their cars. they either cant help me or didnt reply to me.

SO....
im asking if anyone on here has pictures of just the bracket or even blue prints to make one. any help will be apppreciated

Post in the WTB section if you're looking for one. I posted a few months ago and I got 2 or 3 replies.

any way I could get a set of those plans?
+1

Any reason these plans should be kept under wraps, or on a "need to know" basis? Seems to me that posting them in this thread (if they're prohibitively large, a rapidshare link would be appropriate) would be a real "nice guy" move for the community.

Well, I guess all I'm saying is: don't underestimate their potential for usefulness around here, especially if/when the day comes that you've got a working prototype to validate the plans.

I'm sure I'll have something one day. Too many irons in the fire to spend time on it these days, though.

The pictures I have of my bracket (and probably what I posted in that thread) have no dimensions. It is/was a couple of pictures of the bracket itself sitting on the floor and being test fit.

If you're still looking for those pictures, I can re-host them by the weekend. For now, this is probably the best picture I currently have hosted of the bracket.

Give me a deposit that can cover the cost of my stainless steel bracket, and I will let you borrow it and return the deposit when my bracket is returned.

if possible, could you re-host those pictures so people can get a good idea of what the design should look like?

I have a source that can machine and weld up vortech brackets that don't eat belts like the SHOshop ones did. He has only built himself one so far. It's redesigned and holds the power very nicely. 20k miles on one belt and still going strong on high psi. He has not built more because he feels there isn't a huge demand but might be willing to do a group buy.

I do believe the the bracket for a 92 (what the OP has) will vary slightly as that looks like a 94-95 bracket to me. The earlier models do not have the round post welded next to the stepped rectangular post/mounts.

I don't think it does. It is used to mount to the 94-95 lower alternator bolt.

You'll want someone with a pre 94 model to confirm. I know Pat's dis not have it on both his SC SHO's.
