chain tensioners, thrust washers, main bearings, heads (good cleaning first) timing belt tensioner... Just about everything from the firewall forward is worth good money to a lot of people on this forum.

covered in dust, both airbags are missing. Canadian slicers on the pass side, Italians for the drivers side. black car, two doors were red, other two were green. console must still be there, I saw the ATX shifter then looked elsewhere. has a sunroof.

stopped by and looked at it again today. wrote the VIN down, interestingly the digits 8,9,10 are P O P, and the last P was a bit mangled. remember, this was a stolen SHO.
yard was already closed at 4pm, couldn't ask any more questions today.

How 'ya doin Denny?

the location is...

Hey Bizzy, I owe you one now. Do you want a donation, or a donation?

stopped by and talked again today. They'll let it go for "the right price", which was a bit too high for me.
It would have a rebuilt title and enough parts to make it look like a SHO, ask for details.
The mileage is now stated at 27,***
sorry, no pics yet.

lol@ "the right price". What's he think...that the engine and trans are going to be usable after having sat in there for a decade? What about the chassis? Oh...it's an orange title? Worthless, but for scrap.

It can't be used for anything but a parts car or for a bare bones racing chassis.

Without the original doors and with the orange title, there's no collectible value for it.

So what's it worth...parts wise...

A well maintained 3.2 engine and trans with 100,000 miles on it is worth more than a 27,000 mile engine and trans that's been sitting, untouched for a decade (edit...and a half). And that's about $400

$400 for the engine and trans. Tops.

Pik-A-Part prices on all the rest of it would only add up to about $400-$600 depending on the exhaust. The chassis (if there was absolutely zero sign of rust, anywhere) would be worth double it's value in scrap...so maybe another $300?

And what's the "right" price?

And everyone knows this isn't an ad. You aren't trying to "sell a car".

Besides the BDA, the thrust bearings, and the cams (bleh, atx cams) I can't think of any parts on that car I'd really trust to act like they had 27,000 miles on them. Harnesses. Maybe.
