IIRC, you'll need a CCW head unit if you plan to run a SHO Shop setup. You have several options to choose from when it comes to head units and you won't find a ready OTS unit that will just bolt up.

Trying to listen to the difference on blower whistle between two different setups wouldn't be accurate. Ultimately, you'll have to have the blowers spinning the exact same speed to compare the difference. Trying to judge from a video would almost be impossible depending on the camera/mic setup. FWIW, I am trying to quiet my V2 down a little.

Just go with a s-trim. More common(cheaper) and can't really go past 12 psi on stock internal anyways. Sounds like u want a t-trim though. there an S-trim for sale by me. I'm thinking bout picking it up since I have stuff for another:nuts: PM if you want the link

And yea I still wanna get a 3.2 pulley and have 10 Psi by 5k:evilgrin: I should trade my 3.4 ultra grip pulley for a 3.33 or 3.2.

Jason..urs was new wasn't it? Did ur's get louder after a while???? Mine seems louder now, not as high pitched, but louder overall. Did u notice this too????

I am hitting 14 psi with mine, all stock internals.

What's the difference if I posted in the WTB section?

I'll let you know if I have that part because you would be posting for a specific part.

Like I said, I sell SHO parts, new and used, so PM me if you need something.

Is the V1 -V2 (s and T t-trim) the only vortech blowers used on the SHO? Has anybody put a bigger or smaller blower on. For instance the v5 is for 4.0 l and lower. I wonder how this would do on a SHO? The self-contained v3 would make an S/C a true bolt-on application. And its similar to an S-trim specs. If I were to buy a new unit it would be this..no worries of leaks, running a drain line, ect....
