My 89 MTX is running rough. Sometimes it smooths out with RPM, and most of the time it smooths out right at 2600 RPM and sorrta feels the same as the secondaries opening. I ran the KOER test and in the "SEFI or Cylinder balance test" it reports cylinder #3. Later tonight if I have time i'm gonna start looking in to it, if not I will in the morning. I'll let you know what I find out and if there is anything else wrong. If you can think of anything I should be specificaly looking for please let me know.

Pull the plug wires front & back & see if there is oil on them. look inside the plug boot it see if the is carbon tracking. If they a fouled out with oil Its a no brainer. If the hood cowl seal is not intact, it can allow water to run into the rear bank of cyliders on the fire wall side of the engine. Plugs need to be unscrewed & cleaned or replaced. If there is rust on the plugs, they should just be replaced. wires too.

Just thought that I would update this thread for anyone searching problems later on.

The problem was a fouled plug. But on the nice side of things, when I was looking through the trunk of my parts car I found a set of AGSP32PP!!! And they are in pretty good condition still, so I put them in and It runs like a beauty again :hdance:
