Rubbing/scraping sound from tranny

A few days ago I noticed a little scraping sound from the front of the car and then it went away. It is making the noise more frequent now and might be getting worse. It seems to be coming from the front passenger side of the car. It is a quiet scraping sound, pretty close to a vibrating like something is loose. It doesn't do it when the clutch is pushed in and the car is rolling or in nuetral with the clutch out. It also seems to do it only during acceleration not during braking. It's not the heat shields i'm not sure what it is. I will go out tomorrow and see if it is coming from the trans or the engine. shrug

I've sort of been noticing this type of sound also. When I push it hard I've lately heard this hard rubbing sound. I've only heard this noise after this: I've recently had an oil change and replaced the oil with Redline 5-30. I then pumped out about two quarts of tranny fluids and replaced it with Lucas tranny stabilizer oil. I was still hearing this noise a few days after this. I topped off the Redline oil with CD-2 Oil Treatment. I haven't paid attention to the sound the last two days, but I believe the noises are gone. Will update later. But, I wonder what the noise was/is because it's not a fun thing to hear. Any ideas?

I have no idea what it is. I can't tell if it is still there or not because my sho is making more noises from the engine. I need a trip to midwestsho that's for sure.

Will they do any sort of repairs for you, because Mike said he no longer has a garage and referred me to Expert Auto in Palatine.

.......Man, I sure wish he would do some work on my car. I'm the farthest from a DIY....I mean, I don't even own a damn screwdriver in my car.
