I had torn my SHO motor apart and got the block honed and put new rings in along with every gasket known to man, and fired it up.
~200 miles later I still have a "rough" idle issue, which seems to smooth out once the revs reach 1000+ RPMs. I pulled the codes and got -
111
157
Which the 157 is from me playing with the MAF sensor while the car is running to see if it made any difference or not. Then I ran a cylinder balance test and got cylinders number 4 and 6. The car is still cooling down but I plan on pulling the plugs to see what they look like.
With a long screwdriver I verified the injectors are ticking along as they should. I didn't listed to see if and when they stopped in the balance test, but during normal operation they tick (i.e. firing).
Aside from pulling the plugs on the front to see what they look like does anyone have any other thoughts or suggestions on where to look? Thanks!!
