Okay, i have used quaker state ever since i got the car(about 30k miles). Well i just changed over to castrol GTX, now my idle is rough? Personally i think quaker state is a fine oil. I saw the other thread with the 2 engines, one with castrol or quaker state, mine looks like the one with castrol but i use quaker state. So im not sure how u get a pinkish engine, owner mustve been dumb or something. Anyways, my rpms stay the same, however the engine is like vibrating a bit more at times and loss of power. Any ideas? i check spark plug wires, seemed fine. I hope its a coincidence and the castrol didnt freak up my engine.

Mike,
Welcome aboard. I wouldn't think an oil change would cause these symptoms unless something got bumped/disconnected in the process. However, you do drive a 10+ year old Ford sedan and if you browse the posts many little problems can arise. Check if there are any computer codes and first trouble shoot is usually plugs/wires.
