Is there anyone else out there that go through front rotors every three months? Whether I get a good pair of rotors or get a pair from AutoZone or Murray's, it seems that I'm having to change them every 3 months. Any suggestions, Why?

I did not know that.Xs SHO 1 said:The front brakes for the '93 atx do not have slider pins. Its a one piece caliper set up, no caliper bracket. The caliper piston is the only moving item....

Your saying that from "93" to our "94"s they changed the brake set-up![]()
SHO Type U said:From '94-'99, the front brakes uses caliper brackets, they must have hired a genius engineer probably late '93. Ford should have done that with the '89-'93s.

DigDeez said:Well, assuming this is the case for my 93 ATX, I don't feel like a newbie after all. Cuz, man, I've been staring at the front calipers too many times trying to figure out what in the heck are slider pins.
And I guess you need two people to check and see if the piston(s) are moving as they should?
The brake pads I use are Bosch!
