Are you interested in making a few extra moldings for some of us?

This mold was not made in the traditional way ie; to make an impression of an object then remove the object and pour into the left over impression to make copies of say the white bushings not the mold itself. I poured the mold in place so that I could capture the bushings on all sides permanently. That said I could make copies but I would need the 'u' shaped part and new bushings. This is a very easy DIY project a total of 30 minutes and it seems it would be messy but that is not the case. The excess peels off cleanly from any surface and does not stain and will only stick to itself so pouring the mold in place on the shifter bracket is the only way to 'float' the bushings in the carrier to allow the mold to capture all sides of the bushings and after ten minutes the carrier and the bushings are combined and can slide along the bracket rails or be removed from the bracket. I personally think that in time shosource will figure out something similar and they have the parts but a DIY project for $35 is not a bad deal and you can use all the left over mold material to make candy pieces of chevy's. LOL
