RIP, old Friend.

Since 2001 I've owned my Black 93MTX. It was my 3rd SHO and it's been my daily driver for 7 years now. It has taken me around the world almost 3 times.

Even with all the maintenance I've performed over the years, keeping it a safe and respectable DD has become a losing battle. It's in the garage every weekend now and with the amount of rust it has, I've just about decided to put it out of it's misery and part it out.

If anyone is interested in making an GLSS meet out of it, let me know. I'll be mourning the loss for about a week, then it's time to chop it up.


PS...I could really use an old beat up subframe. Even a broken one would be fine. Mine is mint and I don't want to send it to the crusher. I just want to be able to roll the "dealry departed" down the driveway so it dosent even need to be an MTX subframe, a busted ATX subframe is the perfect candidate.

That sucks man... I know of an undergound peice I need.. Black in color too. Maybe I'll swap hoods with ya.. I have a lotta stuff left over too, so let me know what ya might need / want.

What "underground" black part do you need?

Did you do the subframe bushings on it.
If so what kind did you use.
i was wondering because i need some for my 92.
preferablly aluminum.

I used gen3 SFB...rears.

Well if you said something about rust.. your stuff is probally lookin a lot like mine.. Rockers and that sort of thing..

I won't let mine die.. or I guess can't let it die.. put too much $$ into it already... lol
