WHAT IS THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS OF A STOCK SHO RIM??
WIDE ,DIA ,BACK ,SPACEING ,AND BOLT PATERN
I WHAT TO GET CUSTOM RIMS THAT WIEGH NOTHING...BUT THE COMPANY SAY THE BOLT PATTERN IS 108 MM...AND I TOLD THEM THAT PEOPLE HAVE STUCK STOCK COBRA RIMS ON THERE SHO WITH OUT ANY MODS....THEY SAID THAT THEY DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS POSSIBLE ...BECAUSE THE BOLT PATERN ON A COBRA RIM WAS 4 1/2 COULD SOME ONE HELP...I'M NOT NEAR MY CAR THANKS

The cobra rims you see on a bunch of SHO's on here are actually made for the Thunderbird. It is an imitation wheel, and not stock at all. T bird, and Taurus have the same bolt pattern, but the mustang is NOT the same.

The factory rim is 16x6 with a 5x4.25(5x108mm) bolt pattern, not sure of the offset. Like he said, the ones you see are knock-offs, not true Cobra wheels which are 5x4.5

I'm pretty sure the stock offset is 45mm but 42mm sounds "more" correct. You just need Cobra replica's with 4.25"(108mm) bolt pattern and at least 38mm or higher offset to fit on a SHO, the real ones have a 4.5"(114mm) bolt pattern and the offset is defitnaly less than 38mm. Just to let you know my 18's with 40mm offset are right at the fender upfront so if you go lower than that your gonna stick the rim/tire out a bit upfront.

They will fit but will be flush to the rear fender and stick out upfront, now if you can leave with the wheels sticking out upfront go for it.

jdh00(#338) has the same rims your looking for wrapped in 235/45 rubber.

The widest tire that "almost always" fits a GEN II SHO is 235mm. Thats about 9.25" Anything more is on a car-by-car basis, depends on production tolerances, what (if anything) has been done to correct camber, putting spacers on etc. Anything wider and you will risk torque steer and worse handling. While torque steer during acceleration is easily controlled, the opposite, torque steer under severe braking is extremely difficult to counteract. The car can change lanes before you have a clue. Same thing on irregular surfaces or grade separations, the car doing unexpected lane changes at freeway speeds is a real rush. For the track only, no problem, go as wide as you want. If you plan on driving on the streets, be reasonable, and happily live to tell about it. Other opinions welcome.
