Has anyone run new wire from their head unit to there door speakers. I was able to put the wire through the rubber tube in the passenger door without too much trouble. But the drivers door doesn't have the same rubber tubing. If anyone has a solution to this or rewired in a different way let me know. Thanks

I came up with a solution to that when i was wiring up my sable. you can't go through the stock tube on the drivers door because it is actually a plug. what you have to do is pull away the carpetting and kickpanel on the drivers side and drill a 1/4-3/8 inch hole in the door jam as close to where the factory tube comes out, then drill one on the door too. run your wire through the two holes, and cover it with split-loom tubing. seal the two ends in place with silicone sealant. and wrap electrical tape around the split loom. that is the only way i figured out to do it. you can't go through the factory tube on the driver side.

well that sucks  . I guess I'll be gettin out the drill. Why didn't they just do it like the passenger door, and make things easier...though getting the wire through there took like and hour.
