I read on SHONut that you can just as easily flip the shim over and use the marked side, provided that you remark the number on the formerly worn side? Are there any opinions or experiences with this? Thanks...

You can reuse shims just fine... You can use any side provided they are not too worn or damaged.

Hey dude

You can probably guess that I'm deep in the valve lash job...that description on the SHOPP is wickedly helpful. I need to find a few shims for those which are out of spec, but I'm just going to flip the others. Then I can actually DRIVE the *******. :)

I have a shim kit, but I won't be getting it back for a little while. I've got some around though, which ones do you need?
