Hello everyone! I recently purchased a 91 Plus but have been a long time SHO enthusiast from the 90's. My first SHO was a 95 ATX, second was a 93 MTX, and I also had a 90 as a parts car. I was born and raised in the Philadelphia area but then moved to LA 12 years ago. Since then, I owned a 2004 Mazda RX-8 and a 2008 BMW M5 which were special cars in their own way but they never had the impact the SHO did for me. Probably because it was my first "real" car and I found my passion in all things automotive. When I visited Philly last May for my dad's memorial, I saw that my 95 ATX was deteriorating sitting for the past 12 years. My dad kept it because he knew how much it meant to me. I didn't want to burden my mom with the car at her house so I had to quickly and sadly junk it =(. I didn't even get a chance to pull the bolt-ons I installed on the car. Well since then, I couldn't get my mind off of it not thinking I would own one again but decided to join the gen1/gen2 fb group just to get some nostalgia. Well a few weeks ago someone shared a craigslist ad for a 91 plus for sale in Santa Barbara. Funny thing was I always told myself that if I ever owned a SHO again, it would be a 91 plus. Mentioned it to my wife just for fun and she said,"You should totally get it!" Well, that was all the convincing I needed and here we are. I will post a thread on the restoration of the 91 if y'all are interested in following. It needed some TLC but overall was a good buy and the nostalgic feels is priceless! If anyone is in the LA area, I would be down to meet up and catch up with all that I missed over the years.
