I am going to reset my EEC today. Is it a good idea o drive on the highway right after resetting?

I was thinking of pulling off at a rest stop. Sitting there for a while and resset the EEC then jump back on the highway. Thank you.

Search the forum for 'idle reset procedure'. You can do it in your driveway without driving the car at all. If you want to drive it after clearing the PCM, you can just drive it 'normally' -- there is no advantage to driving it on a highway.
